Goals
After this tutorial you will be able to:
- Know which proof is accepted
- Meet the 48-hour deadline
- Avoid having your report rejected
What the proof must have
Full video, with no cuts.
The incident shown continuously and clearly.
No editing or manipulation.
What isn't accepted
A screenshot as main proof, even with clear content.
A recording made on the web version of Discord.
A cut video or one with signs of editing.
Proof delivered after the 48 hours.
Incidents on Discord
If the case involves conversations or messages, record in the Discord desktop app.
- 1
Start recording
Keep the Discord app visible.
- 2
Restart the app
The video must show Discord being restarted before showing the conversation.
- 3
Show the conversation
Open the reported content without cutting the recording.
Bugs or restart requests
In these cases, a claim is only considered with proof given to the mediators, following what support instructs. When in doubt, record a video.
