Rules

Official BR Tokens match rules: entry fee and waivers, match start, team changes, disconnections, cancellations, conduct, double and tiebreak.

Last updated: November 2026

1.0.0 Entry fee

  • 1.0.1 The fee to match an entry follows the table published in the values channel of the official server. The total amount to pay is shown before the payment is confirmed.
  • 1.0.2 If one of the players chooses not to pay the entry, no match will be started.
  • 1.0.3 If a payment has already been made and the match is not completed for operational reasons, the money automatically returns to the payer's balance, as follows:
    • a) if the opponent does not pay, or if the player cancels before the opponent pays (a cancellation allowed before the stage in clause 6.0.1), the full amount paid returns, fee included;
    • b) if the tiebreaker is declined or the team cancels the match, the entry of each payment made returns, without the fee.

2.0.0 Fee exemption

  • 2.0.1 Members with the Booster role are entitled to 5 fee-exempt tokens, according to the team's internal rules.
  • 2.0.2 Players who wear the server tag on their Discord profile earn 1 (one) fee-free match per day and can store up to 7 (seven). The available amount is shown by the /tag command.
  • 2.0.3 Players who keep the tag for 90 (ninety) days in a row receive the Veteran role and earn 2 (two) fee-free matches per day.
  • 2.0.4 If a match that used the exemption is cancelled before both sides have paid, the fee-free match returns to the player. Once both sides have paid, the match counts as played and the exemption does not return, even if the team cancels the match.
  • 2.0.5 The benefits are personal and non-transferable.

3.0.0 Match start

  • 3.0.1 Players have a maximum of 5 minutes to start the match after the entry is confirmed.
  • 3.0.2 The deadline may be extended with the opposing team's agreement.
  • 3.0.3 Failure to show up within the deadline will result in a W.O. (clause 9.0.3).
  • 3.0.4 If the player stays still, inactive, or without any movement at the start of the round, without prior notice before the match starts, the round will be counted normally.
  • 3.0.5 Later justifications claiming momentary absence, delay, technical problems, or any other reason not reported in advance will not be accepted.

4.0.0 Team switching

  • 4.0.1 It is forbidden to leave the match to switch teams after the game starts in 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 modes.
  • 4.0.2 Non-compliance will result in a W.O. for the offending player or team.

5.0.0 Connection loss and abandonment

  • 5.0.1 If the connection is lost during the match, the player must immediately notify the mediation team and present proof of the incident (video, photos, or screenshots, as provided in clause 7.1.8 of the Terms of Use).
  • 5.0.2 If the disconnection happens during an ongoing round, the round must be finished normally and its result is valid. After the round ends, the match must be paused so the mediation team can review the situation.
  • 5.0.3 Once the disconnection is properly proven, the player will have a maximum of 5 (five) minutes to return to the game, counted from the end of the ongoing round or from the mediation team's authorization.
  • 5.0.4 If the player does not present proof of the disconnection, voluntarily leaves the match, intentionally disconnects, or refuses to continue, the situation will be treated as match abandonment, and replacing the player is not allowed.
  • 5.0.5 The team left with fewer players may choose to continue the match normally or request a W.O., as long as the situation is properly proven.

6.0.0 Match cancellation

  • 6.0.1 After the payment is confirmed and the opponent is revealed, the match cannot be cancelled.
  • 6.0.2 Personal problems, unavailability, or connection difficulties do not justify cancellation after this stage.
  • 6.0.3 In these cases, the team must choose to:
    • a) Play the match normally;
    • b) Concede the win to the opponent.

7.0.0 Conduct and Fair Play

  • 7.0.1 Acts of racism, discrimination, hate speech, or serious offenses will be reviewed by the team and may result in a formal warning, W.O., loss of the entry, or ban, depending on severity.
  • 7.0.2 Common in-game banter is not an automatic infraction; context, intent, and recurrence are always considered.
  • 7.0.3 Less serious offensive terms may result in an initial warning. If repeated, a formal warning may be issued.
  • 7.0.4 Reports made solely to harm another player may result in administrative action.
  • 7.0.5 The use of cheats, exploits, or any undue advantage will result in an immediate W.O. and referral for administrative punishment under the Terms of Use.
  • 7.0.6 It is allowed to pay the entry (also known as “bancar tokens”) and let another person play the match in your place. Whoever plays the match uses their own game account, cannot be a banned player, and cannot use a borrowed account (Terms of Use, clauses 5.0.1, 5.0.12, and 7.2.5). The practice remains forbidden on championship days and/or official BR TOKENS events, and whenever the team officially announces the prohibition. In these cases, the practice, as well as facilitating or taking part in it, will result in an immediate W.O. and referral for administrative punishment under the Terms of Use.
  • 7.0.7 Acts of racism, discrimination, hate speech, or serious offenses committed outside the official BR TOKENS server — including on other Discord servers or any other platform — may also be punished, as long as it is proven that the author is the same player from the match and that the person targeted is also linked to that match. The penalty will follow the severity of the case, under clause 7.0.1.
  • 7.0.8 Win trading and match collusion follow the sanctions in the Terms of Use, clauses 6.0.3 and 6.0.5: ban from the official server, total loss of points in ongoing events, and a block on taking part in any official event the following month. Attempting to evade this block results in a ban and zeroing of the balance of the punished account, the account used for evasion, and the other players who arranged the result.
  • 7.0.9 Discrimination based on nationality, origin, or where a person lives — country, state, region, or city — is not tolerated. Insulting, offending, mocking, or excluding someone for being from somewhere else (for example, Brazilians against Argentinians or Argentinians against Brazilians) is a conduct violation and applies equally to players from any country. A first offense results in at least a formal warning; repeat offenses or serious cases result in a ban. This rule applies in text chat, voice, and matches and, under clause 7.0.7, also outside the official server.

8.0.0 Double, tiebreaker, and proof of incidents

  • 8.0.1 In case of a double or tiebreaker, the contest must continue in the same lobby. Leaving the session to start or move to another lobby is not allowed.
  • 8.0.2 Bug claims or requests to restart the match will only be considered with proof presented to the mediation team (video, photos, screenshots, or equivalent material), under clause 7.1.8 of the Terms of Use and support's instructions.

9.0.0 General match provisions

  • 9.0.1 The BR TOKENS team may interpret and apply these rules to protect the integrity of matches.
  • 9.0.2 Not knowing the rules does not exempt the player from penalties.
  • 9.0.3 A W.O. ends the match as a win for the opponent, who receives the match prize. The player or team that caused the W.O. loses the entry paid.
  • 9.0.4 These Rules complement the Terms of Use. Balance sanctions always follow section 3.0.0 of the Terms, and requests to review decisions follow clause 2.0.6 of the Terms.
